MANUEL-TURIZO
Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He has made major global breakthroughs into the Latin pop scene. In 2016, his hit Una Lady Como Tu was the recipient of a Colombian Kids Choice Award for Best Song in the year 2017. The year 2017 saw the release of ADN which was his debut long-player in the name of La Industria Inc. in Medellin. The album climbed to number 8 within the Top Latin Albums Chart. The following year he joined Ozuna for their Top Five smash Vaina Loca. In the year 2020, he debuted his second album charting Dopamina and co-wrote Mala Influencia alongside Noriel. In 2021, he also performed a duet on TINI's streaming smash track Maldita Foto. In 2023, the year 2000, the cult hit La Bachata was released. Turizo was raised in a musical household the mother of his younger brother and father also are musicians. According to him, music was a mandatory aspect of his daily life. When he was a kid, he began learning how to play the ukulele, saxophone and piano. When his original career plan was to become a veterinarian the brother Julian encouraged him to enroll in singing classes with a Cuban teacher and the end result personally discovering his talent as a singer altered his entire life.
