Madhuri dixit Madhuri dixit, an Indian actor who has been known for her roles in Hum Aapke Hain Koun (Beta Saajan) and Beta Saajan is among the most well-known Indian actors. In the 1980s, she started her acting career and gained a lot of attention for her role of Tezaab in which she starred alongside an established actor Anil Kapooor. Then, she starred alongside Aamir as part of Dil. She was born into the Mumbai middle-class family, and started dancing at an early age. At the age of 16 actress, she began performing but suffered through a number of years since the majority of her first films were failures. Her fame grew and she became one of India's leading film actors. After she got married the actress took time off from acting prior to returning. She was recently an integral part of Gulaab Gang about Indian women. Dixit was nominated for fifteen Filmfare Awards, out of which she took home eight. Padma Shri is the fourth highest civilian distinction in India. Her social work sector is well known.
